Jay Noffsinger is the proud owner of Premier Athletics locations in Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Crossville. A former Marine Corps Combat Engineer, Jay completed basic training and advanced courses tailored to his field specialty. He pursued business studies at Middle Tennessee State University and brings several years of expertise in business management and administration. An outstanding motivator, Jay has led teams to achieve multiple national championships as well as a World title. He is passionate about offering communities family-friendly gyms that educate, train, and impart life skills to athletes of all ages.
Angela Noffsinger is the co-owner of the Middle Tennessee locations and has always held a deep passion for cheerleading. A former all star at Premier Athletics, she made history as the first athlete from the organization to cheer for the nationally ranked University of Kentucky cheer squad. Angela pursued her studies in Accounting at the University of Kentucky, where she was a dedicated member of the prestigious Varsity Blue Squad for four years. She boasts an impressive record as a three-time UCA College National Champion and a one-time runner-up with the University of Kentucky. Angela takes great joy in witnessing athletes at Premier Athletics achieve their goals, as they cultivate perseverance, determination, and self-confidence through the sport they cherish.
Hayley "Shine" Stevens began her cheerleading journey at Premier Athletics Nashville at a remarkably young age. For 17 years, she showcased her talent as an all star cheerleader and later as a cheerleader for her school as well. Following high school, she elevated her cheerleading career at the nationally recognized University of Louisville's cheerleading program. There, she competed with both the Small Coed and All-Girl teams, helping them secure an impressive four consecutive NCA Collegiate National titles. During her college years, she also joined GymTyme All Stars, where her team won The Cheerleading Worlds for three consecutive years. Since 2017, Shine has served as a coach at Premier Athletics and currently holds the position of Assistant Manager of the Nashville location. Her qualifications include certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Concussion training, as well as being a certified instructor with the USASF and USA Cheer.
Levon is dedicated to sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise from over 20 years in the cheer industry. He has collaborated with teams across the US, Canada, and Australia, and has had the privilege of coaching National, Summit, and World Champion squads, guiding them to numerous titles throughout his career. With an array of roles within the sport, Levon has consistently prioritized learning, which has provided him with a rich and multifaceted perspective. He offers valuable insights that help develop programs, enhance culture, and train athletes and coaches to reach their full potential. As a "cheer dad," coach, USASF Regional Advisor, USASF Connection Leader, Varsity All Star judge, Accuscore Official, and a welcoming presence to all, Levon is always eager to share his knowledge with others. He is certified in CPR, First Aid, and has completed Concussion training, in addition to being a certified instructor with both USASF and USA Cheer.
Calvin Hassell has been an vital coach at Premier Athletics since 2011. A former all-star and high school cheerleader himself, Calvin brings a wealth of experience in both all star and school competition cheerleading. He has guided numerous allstar and school teams to national championships, showcasing his expertise. Known for his exceptional motivation skills, Calvin employs a fun-focused coaching style that resonates with his athletes. His passion and energy shine through as he helps individuals realize their aspirations. Currently, Calvin serves as the Wilco Program Director. He is certified in CPR and First Aid and has completed concussion training. Additionally, he holds certification as an instructor with both USASF and USA Cheer.
Amy McCloud is the Office Manager at Premier Athletics Nashville. Her connection to Premier Athletics started as a parent, with her twin daughters participating in both the all star program and the school squad program. Both girls continued their cheerleading careers at the collegiate level. Renowned for her warmth and organizational skills, Amy is consistently ready to assist customers whenever the need arises.
Brittany has been an important part of Premier Athletics since the beginning, initially as an athlete and subsequently as a coach. From elementary school through high school, Brittany showcased her talent as a member of the all star program at Premier Athletics, while also dedicating eleven years to competitive dance. Following her graduation, Brittany attended the University of Louisville, where she cheered for four years and played a key role in her team's triumphs, securing three NCA Collegiate National titles. Brittany is highly skilled in instructing both all star and school squads. Beyond coaching, she is a certified massage therapist. Additionally, Brittany holds certifications as a USASF and USA Cheer instructor, along with CPR, First Aid, and Concussion training certifications.
Kelley became a member of the Premier Athletics family after moving from Ohio in 2013. In 1998, she founded North Coast All Star Cheer and Dance, Inc. in Berea, Ohio, where she oversaw the coaching staff, instructed tumbling classes, developed curriculum, and coordinated travel arrangements. Additionally, she served as the head coach for several teams competing in levels 1-5. Currently, Kelley holds the position of USASF Credentialing Instructor and serves as the Tennessee State USASF Representative. She is a USASF certified legality and safety judge and panels for various events across the United States. Kelley has achieved credentials for levels 1-5, is CPR certified, and completed the Special Olympic coaching course for cheerleading, along with First Aid & CPR certification and Concussion training. Furthermore, she is a middle school English Language Arts teacher, possessing a master’s degree in Special Education.
Lowell "Tapp" has coached for three different national winning all star programs and has been involved with cheerleading in multiple aspects since 2008. He is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University where he majored in Computer Management and was a five year member of the competitive cheerleading squad. Tapp is a USASF Certified instructor and holds certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Concussion training. He firmly believes for a successful athlete should have a strong work ethic, discipline, and dedication. His expertise inclu co-ed stunting and tumbling.
